PRACTICE: Labbe Fastest at St.Eustache
Quebec Driver Quickest in Pinty’s Practice Session
ST-EUSTACHE, Que — Points leader Alex Labbe has been fast at the oval tracks all year. He continued his fast pace by setting the quickest time during practice for the NASCAR Pinty’s Series’ Lucas Oil 250 presented by Bumper to Bumper and Coors Light at Autodrome St-Eustache.
The 24-year-old driver from Victoriaville, Quebec, set a blistering lap time of 17.224 seconds (83.604mph) around the 0.4 mile bullring to top the speed charts.
Labbe’s No.32 Can-Am/ Kappa/ Cyclops Gear/ Lous BBQ Ford has won four out the six oval races run this season, he is looking for his first win at Autodrome St-Eustache.
CTMP winner and local favorite Kevin Lacroix finished second with a time of 17.270 (83.382) just missing the top spot by 0.046 seconds. Donald Theetge set the third fastest time (17.425/ 82.687).
Anthony Simone and LP Dumoulin rounded out the top five.
Cayden Lapcevich and JF Dumoulin finished sixth and seventh respectively.
DJ Kennington, Mark Dilley and Adam Martin complete the top ten.
Qualifying for the Lucas Oil 250 presented by Bumper to Bumper and Coors Light is set for 4:45 p.m, while the green flag is set to drop at 8:30 p.m.
