Michele Rahal….

Michele Rahal began his career as a professional racing driver in the United States driving for top road racing teams and owners such as Tom Gloy Motorsports, Lever Brothers and the Championship Group. His professional racing career continued from 1980 to 1987. In 1988, Mr. Rahal retired from active driving and moved on to create motorsports insurance packages for teams, events, facilities and drivers developing and instituting programs through such world renowned institutions as Lloyds of London.

In 1993, Rahal started his own sports and lifestyle-marketing firm known as Michele Rahal & Associates. Michele Rahal & Associates ultimately evolved into The Rahal Group. In 1994-1995 Mr. Rahal successfully campaigned a Formula Ford 2000 team for two British drivers for the Swift brand chassis.

In 1998 Mr. Rahal took the position as SVP of Sales and Marketing for The Affinity Group, a company that was comprised of four divisions, The Affinity Group, Reliant Interactive Media, General Search (an Internet Search Engine) and Tele-Services Internet Group (an Internet Marketing company). He successfully merged the marketing and appropriate personnel departments of these four firms into one company.

Mr. Rahal’s Accomplishments include the sale and promotion of the award winning on-line Coca-Cola “Enjoy the Sounds” Promotion. He sold, developed and implemented the Pennzoil/NASCAR racing program for Wakely Motorsports and David Reutimann, now a Sprint Cup driver. Mr. Rahal served as the Agency of Record for the Formula Vee Air Racing Association.


Edmund Jenks….

Edmund Jenks is a member of the Motor Press Guild and the American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association (AARWBA) – He participates in the world of New Media as the Managing Editor of six Weblogs: MAXINE, Symblogogy , Oblate Spheroid, Carter’s Second Term, The Motorsports Report, & … notes from The EDJE. He provides international consulting and relationship services and has been republished by Pajama’s Media, LATimes, Execupundit, Library Clips, Japan Only, Planet CellPhone, The Grocery List, BlogoWogo, Instapundit, PoliticalOpinions, Slate, AOLnews, WIRED, and WSJ Online … to mention a few. Frank Santoroski attended his first auto race way back in 1978. His Uncle took him to the Formula One Grand Prix at Watkins Glen and he caught the racing bug, and has never been able to shake it. Through the 1990’s and early 2000’s he worked as a writer and correspondent for CART Pages and Race Family Motorsports covering Champ Car and Indy Car Racing. Currently, he is employed as the Vice President of Marketing with ZP International Motion Pictures, a powerhouse Independent Film Company based in the greater Lexington, KY market. Writing for Drafting the Circuitsallows Frank to rekindle one of his true passions, covering motorsports and spreading the word about the IndyCar Series.
